SouthPark Renovations, Overbuilds, and Additions
SouthPark is where a lot of our biggest projects happen. It's a neighborhood built mostly from the 1950s through the 1980s, with ranch and split-level homes on generous lots close to SouthPark Mall and some of Charlotte's best schools. A large share of that housing stock is aging out of its original layout, which is exactly the situation we're built for.
Our SouthPark and Foxcroft work tends to follow a pattern: an overbuild above an existing garage, a rear dormer addition to pull in light, and a full interior renovation that turns a dated ranch into a home that lives like new construction while keeping its footprint on an established lot.
Building up instead of out matters here. It preserves mature landscaping, respects setbacks, and adds real square footage without a teardown.

What Clients Say
From a Foxcroft overbuild.
“Step inside one of Charlotte's most stunning large-scale renovations. This historic Foxcroft home in SouthPark was completely transformed in five months with an overbuild above the garage, a rear dormer addition, a luxury primary suite, and an expansive covered porch.”Jake & Jenna · SouthPark Clients
Common Questions
Questions about SouthPark projects.
Why do so many SouthPark projects involve building up rather than out?
Most SouthPark lots are already built out close to their limits. An overbuild above an existing garage or a second-story addition adds real space without fighting setbacks or losing yard.
How long does a SouthPark overbuild take?
Our Foxcroft overbuild took about five months from demo to move-in. Most large-scale SouthPark renovations run 5 to 8 months depending on scope.
