The Story

What we actually did.

What started as a conversation about a kitchen update on Pellyn Wood Drive turned into close to a whole-home renovation. The kitchen wasn't working, the attic above it was unfinished dead space, and neither was pulling its weight.

We rebuilt the kitchen around jumbo porcelain slabs on the walls and ceiling, quartz counters with mitered waterfall edges, walnut accents, and a full Wolf and Sub-Zero package with a Zip Water tap. A custom scullery went in just off the kitchen to keep the main space clean. We built a wet bar, rebuilt the fireplace surrounds, and then moved upstairs: framed an entirely new staircase, added a dormer and a run of rear windows, and finished the attic into a conditioned guest suite with a living room, bedroom, and full bath under its own metal roof.

The outcome: a kitchen that reads like the centerpiece it was designed to be, and a second-story guest suite the family didn't have before.
