The Story

What we actually did.

Full inset custom cabinetry in a smooth painted finish, quartz countertops that continue up the wall as a slab backsplash, and LED lighting routed under the wall cabinets. A load-bearing wall came out, and the classic oak floors were refinished and carefully rewoven so you can't tell where it stood.

The storage is the quiet star: cutlery dividers, pot holders, utensil organizers, paper towel and spice drawer inserts, and a hidden station behind bifold doors for the coffee machine and a liquor cabinet. Hardware is Top Knobs; the appliance package is Wolf and Sub-Zero, integrated into the cabinetry.

Beyond the kitchen, recessed lighting tucked into the coffered living room ceiling highlights the architecture, and the once-dark laundry room got custom cabinetry, real wallpaper, and a raised pedestal platform for the machines. An afterthought became a room.
