The Story

What we actually did.

Fully custom cabinetry with inset doors and drawers, in a two-tone pairing of crisp white paint and stained walnut. The island carries low-voltage lighting for a soft glow and stands on decorative metal legs, and the counters are Taj Mahal quartzite, carried up as a full-height backsplash behind the range where the stone becomes the focal wall of the room.

Natural light drove the plan: the room used to have one window over the sink, so we added two more and transformed the daylight. Panel-ready appliances keep the lines clean, a wet bar handles entertaining, and a Wolf and Sub-Zero package handles the performance side.
